Methane Studios: Concert Posters

Atlanta’s Methane Studios, formed by artists Mark McDevitt and Robert Lee, have been making limited-edition silkscreen and letterpress posters since 1997. They are best know for their national and international poster designs promoting bands such as Pearl Jam, Wilco, and Dave Matthews Band to name a few. Their work is always refreshing and original and we’re glad they’re in our neighborhood.

Last year they designed a series of highly collectible posters for the 2008 Dave Matthews Band tour, a sampling of which are shown below.

As they describe it, “Studio on Fire is a hybrid design and letterpress workspace in Minneapolis, Minnesota.” From what I can see they are also producing a rather impressive body of work.
