
British-based designer Jane McDevitt has cataloged her collection of beautiful 1950s and 1960s Eastern European matchbox labels on her Flickr account. As she explains on her blog the designers embraced the Modern aesthetic at a time when their British counterparts were using designs that had existed since Victorian times.
