New Look, New Direction

It’s evident that some dust has been gathering on the site. New projects have taken much of my time and this fall/winter has been especially busy. It’s been fun but it’s left little time in my day for anything else. Although posts may appear less frequently, expect to find better content and more reader submitted content in 2012.

Look up! Thanks to the wonderful Lavanderia font from James T. Edmondson, we now have a new masthead. It’s a big change and one that was long overdue. It’s also the first of many layout tweaks in store over the next few months. So stay tuned and let the updates begin!

When you combine design and cycling, this is about as good as it gets. Illustrator Neil Stevens has documented the 98th edition of the grandest cycling race. With the last stage completed only a few weeks ago, he’s managed to illustrate all 21 stages with highlights of each stage. The results are nothing short of exceptional.
